The Broadway Dandy, Feb 20, 1855.  Illustrated with many woodcuts, in a fairly coarse style, ed is “Mr Doesticks” shown in his chair, Mrs Doesticks engertains friends in the pit (a dancer), Doesticks’ daddy frightened, looks like a peddler? artist is LW?

            -seems politically opposed to Bennett.  critical of auctioneers.  a connection to the NY Merchants Ledger?
